We sure have had a busy week ... my Mom got here last Monday and we've been going going going ever since! On Saturday we had a party to celebrate Ainsleys' 1st birthday! It was nice having Mom here to help me out with all the party preparations. We had a few people over to share in some food, fun and birthday cake! Oh, and presents! As you will see, Ainsley had a good time at her party, and loved eating her birthday cake! I have more pictures than words to share .. so here goes!
Yesterday we took Grandma to the Provincial Park so Ainsley could go to the playground. It was a very warm and sunny 23 degrees outside!
Fletch even found a nice little patch of snow to cool off in.
And the best pictures of all - Ainsley wearing her new helmet! For her birthday, she got a helmet and a seat for the back of my bike so we can go riding together. It came with kneepads ... but I don't think she quite needs those yet!

Today we have a play date in the park to celebrate the birthdays of Ainsley, and her friend Olivia with our baby group friends. Its another warm and sunny day so it should be fun!

Hi! What a great photo of you, and your mom, and Ainsley. She looks so grown up on her' first' birthday. You knew I would be looking for pictures right away! Got to see Matt and Becky on Sat.... soon they will be in Ottawa for a visit. Glad your mom could have quality time with you on her first birthday.
